Cylic Voltammetry
Hi
I want to model a 3 electrode electrochemical cell that I am using in cyclic voltammetry. I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions on how to get start doing this using COMSOL as I am new.
I would like to be able to plot current vs potential and current vs time.
Thanks
J

Re: Cylic Voltammetry
Seems Comsol does not support electrochemistry simulations. You could directly use Nernst equation and Butler-Volmer equations in Comsol and do it.

Re: Cylic Voltammetry
COMSOL is actually quite well suited for electrochemistry modeling. See its Batteries and Fuel Cells Module, its Electrodeposition Module and the upcoming Corrosion Module.

Re: Cylic Voltammetry
Jean, I an new with Comsol and have similar question and am not sure about the right module to use: I have CNF (carbon nanofiber) based array and need to simulate cyclic voltammetry with potassium ferrycynide K4[Fe(CN)6]. Could you please give me some insight into this and selecting correct physics/ module?
Thanks,

Jean
Yes if you have a sample code to help get started that would be great.
Thanks
