Adding Geometry Between Studies (Heat Transfer)

I am trying to model a simple time dependent heat transfer problem in solid.

A hot 3D plate with LxBxH = (1mx1mx0.2m) is exposed to ambient air and allowed to cool from top surface under convection for 2 hours. After 2 hour, a second hot plate of same dimension is placed on top of previous cooling plate. And same process repeated adding more plates on top of previous one.

Now my question is, how can I add geometry in the middle of simulation such that I will get one complete temperature result?
