problem with MATLAB function

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I have a MATLAB function that is linked to my mph file. For some reason, it seems that the function only accepts constant values as inputs. Whenever I use one of my defined Variables or Parameters that were set under Global Definitions, the MATLAB function is not executed. I verified it by using an fprintf command in the MATLAB function file, which created an output file upon only using numeric values for the input.
I forgot to mention that my function does not work with some built-in variables such as "solid.FdxX" either or any other variables such as x and y positions.

I have seen and used a sample MATLAB function that posted by COMSOL support and that used temperature as the input for a function. Does anyone know why this happens?

Thanks
Jessica
