Using previously solved variables

Hey Everyone,
I need some help using 4.2a with functionality that I knew how to use in 3.x

I am running a one-way coupled simulation between Darcy's Law and Solute Transport. I want to use the velocity field from Darcy's law as input into a Solute transport model. In 3.x I would: 1) Solve Darcy's Law (with solute transport off) , 2) Store Darcy's Law solution, 3) Activate Solute Transport and turn off Darcy's Law, and finally 4) Solve for the Solute transport solution.

I am having trouble performing this in 4.2a. I can not seem to provide the Solute Transport solution with the solved velocity field and I am getting an error. I have stored the solution but I can not seem to select it for use in the Solute Transport. Any thoughts or can someone point me to documentation that describes roughly the same procedure for other physics?

Thanks

Dave

Hi

you select the physics you solve for by enabling or disabling the items in the main solver node "physics list", then you must select the Dependent Variables solver sub node and choose solution study x or stored solution.
Finally you must ensure that your variables names are either the same or equate tem via the initial conditions

Good luck
