Mutual Inductance Calculation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am wanting to calculate the mutual inductance between Coils. I currently have 4 coils: Driver, Primary, Secondary, and Load. I am wanting to find the mutual inductance between the Primary and Secondary Coils. I am modelling the coils in 2D Axisymmetric. The primary and secondary coils are muti turn multi layer coils. Each coil is set up using the muti-turn coil domain.

My question is how can I calculate the mutual inductance?

I can calculate the inductance of each coil and it is accurate but I am not sure how to calculate mutual inductance?

What is the difference between Muti-Turn Coil Domain and Coil Group Domain ?

By the looks of the fields I am not sure if the fields are going through my other coils.

I have attached my model, if any one could give me any help/ insight that would be great.

Thanks,

Kyle
