drying 3D

Hello everyone

I´m trying to create a model to describe drying of a drop in 3D. I´m using comsol 4.2 (Heat transfer and Transport of a diluite specie). I have that the effective diffusivity of water is function of T and c and the heat and mass boundary conditions are interconnected.

The first problem that I found is that the profiles of water concentration in the sample were not "clean" they assumed strange behaviour but playing with mesh using constant boundary contitions I think I manage to solve this problem.

Now the second problem that I have is that when I consider not constant boundary conditions with that mesh the simulation is interrupted.

I know that the question is vague and I can´t attach the model, but I´ll really appreciate to have any suggestion, maybe someone tried to implement something similar or can suggest me some methods to figure out the problems.

Thanks

Loredana
