Boundary current source vs terminal - on internal boundary

Hello,

I have a question about the AC/DC module -> Electric currents.

I made a simple model and assigned a terminal boundary condition of 1A in one of the contact surfaces, which is an internal boundary in the model.

When I integrate the total current on the ground that comes very close to 1A.

However, when I replace the terminal with a boundary current source on the same internal boundary and replace 1A with 1A/(area of the contact in sq.m). The resultant electric field is much weaker and the total current on the ground is about 0.1, 10 timess less that what I applied.

I think this is strange because I expect both the conditions to deliver 1A current.

I appreciate any help in pointing out the error in this process.
