This two-day advanced course builds upon the Intro course or your prior knowledge of COMSOL Multiphysics.
Through demonstrations and hands-on experience you will gain a more in-depth understanding of
the whole modeling process using COMSOL Multiphysics, from setting up the equations to post-processing the solution.
Illustrative examples are taken from a wide range of simple applications as well as coupled multiphysics
models in the COMSOL Multiphysics graphical user interface and through Matlab.
We will look into the theoretical background and some of the more advanced features which can be used
to enhance your modelling. By learning how to get the most out of the solvers, how to edit COMSOL Multiphysics model
m-files and how and why to specify parts of the problem in weak form, the power and flexibility of COMSOL Multiphysics
is illustrated. A combination of demonstrations and hands-on experience will help you get the most of
modelling in COMSOL Multiphysics, and our experienced instructors will be on hand to give you help and advice.
Anders Ekeroth has a M.Sc. in engineering physics, specializing in scientific computing. Anders has been with COMSOL since 1999, starting out at the development department. He currently works with global technical support and product development within fluid mechanics at the Swedish office.
