Transport Phenomena Coupled to Chemical Reactions

Swedish version

This course is suitable for anybody interested in fluid dynamics, chemical reaction engineering, and transport phenomena. It is specifically suited for current and potential users of COMSOL Multiphysics and the Chemical Engineering Module. This hands-on workshop requires only a basic knowledge of mathematical modeling.

What will you learn?

After a short introduction to the modeling procedures in COMSOL Multiphysics, we will provide an overview of the modeling possibilities within the Chemical Engineering Module. We will build and solve models from the fields of chemical engineering and chemical reaction engineering by treating examples of unit operations and reactor design. We will also provide an overview of the extended capabilities of the new Chemical Engineering Module in the field of fluid dynamics.
