How to Import and Prepare CAD Designs for Simulation

When importing CAD designs for simulations, we often start by modifying the imported geometry to make it more suitable for analysis. Modifications can be, for example, the removal of features such as holes and fillets or the creation of additional computational domains. After meshing the geometry, setting up the physics, and computing the simulation, it is usually time for the next challenge: repeating the simulation using a different version of the design.

Join us for this webinar to learn about the tools and functionality in COMSOL Multiphysics® for importing CAD geometry and preparing it for simulation. We will discuss best practices to ensure an associative import such that the simulation settings are retained on the geometry after reimporting a CAD file.
