Change of mass

Hello,

I’m trying to perform a simulation of a reacting solid with a gaseous phase. I’m considering to model only the gas flow and I would like to know is someone could help me how to work with it considering that there are mass change. There is an increase in the mass because the reaction with the solid, but I don’t want to consider the solid in the simulation.
