Using a matlab function

I have made a function in matlab which takes in a distance and spits out a number. how do I use this in comsol. I want it to be part of the simulation

Well, you need the "LiveLink for MATLAB" module. If you own a license, the 'thermos_llmatlab' tutorial in COMSOL 4.2a shows the usage of external MATLAB functions. Other than that, the following post includes an example, too: www.comsol.de/community/forums/general/thread/7946/#p44147

I am using 3.5a. Is there an example for that version?
