Regarding coupling coefficent and power efficiency

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

This is Pranith. I am doing mutual inductance and power efficiency simulation (between two solenoid coils) in AC/DC module. I had few problems in my simulation results. At high frequencies, the power efficiency seems to be too high for small coupling coeffecient values. For example, at 4.01 MHz, the coupling coeff. is 0.0081 and the efficiency is 52.39%. These results seem strange to me. I am attaching my results and my model. Please help me.

Thanks & Regards,
Pranith
