Impossible to Couple Lubricant Shell with Solid Mechanics

Lubrication Shell: Thin film between the solid wall and the channel base.

The edge you select is the "solid wall" and if that edge is from a "solid mechanic" domain then you can couple it with the "lubrication shell" (Solid Wall Defromation)

However, the software does not ask you for any adge to define the "Channel Base", how does it know the propieties of the "Channel Base"? How to define the "Channel Base"?

Thanks again.

I attach a simplified model in 2D.

Here I tried to model both parts (pad and runner).

I assigned the Lubricant Shell Physics to both edges

In the Lubricant Shell/Gap Proprieties: I coupled the "displacement of the solid wall" with the "Solid Mechanics". I would like to couple the "displacement of the channel base" too. Why I do not have this possibility?

The software do not know which is the channel base?

Check it please.

I would be really glad to conctact him.

Thanks,
