Negative index of refraction for Time Dependent Model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

We have been working to model Chrenkov Radiation in COMSOL. To do this we have set up a charge density to move along a path as a gaussian function. Whenever we have the real part of the permitivity less then zero, for some reason this gives us a computational error for some reason in our outputs.

Is there a problem running time dependent EMW with epsilon_r<0?
