Laminar flow: flow rate boundary condition

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I want to model a fluid flow in a hepatic vasculature (Complex structure with 1 inlet and 21 outlets). For boundary conditions of the laminar flow I have for the inlet a flow rate given. For the outlet I know fractions of this flow rate which correspond to each outet. I cannot find a way to implement this in the model, does anybody know how I could avoid having to use pressure boundary conditions for the outlet (since this is much harder to get a hold of). When I try to use the laminar flow boundary condition, the speed profile of the outlets is not realistic.

Thanks in advance!
