Rotate Geometry vs. rotated dielectric tensor in Eigenfrequency solver

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am trying to solve a 3d eigenfrequency problem in the RF module of an object that has an anisotropic dielectric tensor. I have tried to rotate the object in space (around the y axis) and got one set of solutions, then I rotated the dielectric tensor and got another set of solutions. These two solutions do not match. (I have checked the tensor multiple times as well as the geometries.)

Does anyone have an idea. Could it be that there might be a problem with coordinate systems or the boundary systems?

Any help is appreciated,
Harry
