A sloshing tank problem with a non-rectangular tank.

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am currently creating a model of a sloshing tank with an irregular shape in v3.5. One side is virtical while the other side is angled to the bottom of the tank. My model uses ALE for an in compressible Navier-Stokes problem with a free surface allowing my mesh to deform with the fluid.

A 2D container is being used with a varying gravitational vector direction for fulid movement. However, with these conditions i am unable to obtain a solution with a irregular shaped tank. Any thoughts or assistance on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Ramon.
